Busan Jeonpo Ruver Coffee 러버커피

A Dessert Paradise in Busan You Must Visit

If you’re exploring the trendy streets of Jeonpo Cafe Street in Busan, there’s one place I’ve returned to time and time again: Ruver Coffee. This cafe is a true gem for dessert lovers, constantly evolving with creative and delicious treats.

The superstar of Ruver Coffee is undoubtedly the Pudding Bingsu (Shaved Ice). It’s not your average shaved ice; the ice itself is made from rich custard cream, giving it a silky, melt-in-your-mouth texture. It comes with a whole pudding on top and another one hidden inside! It’s a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth.

(Note: They used to have a Matcha Pudding Bingsu during the matcha craze, but it’s currently off the menu. I personally miss that bittersweet balance!)

Another unique dessert here is Bingshang Longyan (빙상롱엔), a chocolate mousse cake inspired by Chinese desserts. Both the original chocolate and the chocolate-matcha versions are incredibly rich and sweet—highly recommended for hardcore chocolate fans.

I also used to love their waffles, which featured a unique yogurt whipped cream that was perfectly sweet and tangy. However, the dessert lineup has shifted recently to focus on the latest trend in Korea: Dubai Jjonduek-Cookie (Dubai Chewy Cookie).

Instead of the usual version (kadaif and pistachio wrapped in chocolate marshmallow), Ruver Coffee has their own twist. They wrap the pistachio filling in chocolate and then cover it with a chewy rice cake (mochi) layer. It’s much less cloying than marshmallow and has a fantastic texture. Each cookie is priced at 7,000 KRW.

They also offer delicious Strawberry Mochi (4,500 KRW) and Whole Tangerine Mochi (around 4,000–5,000 KRW). Prices for these may vary slightly depending on the seasonal market price of the fruit, but the quality is always top-notch.

Ruver Coffee is extremely popular, so if you want to skip the line, I recommend arriving before 1:00 PM. It’s the perfect spot to recharge your energy while cafe-hopping in Jeonpo!
